For academic year 2012-13, Jason Harris-Boundy will teach IBUS/MGMT 659 "International Business Negotiations" and MGMT 605 "Developing Management Skills" in the Lam Family College of Business at San Francisco State University.  He has previously taught graduate and undergraduate courses on management principles and organizational behavior, leadership skills, entrepreneurship, corporate strategy, organization theory, employee performance and motivation, human resource management, and teaching effectiveness.

Prior to relocating to San Francisco, Professor Harris-Boundy taught at the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. His industry experience includes management consulting with small- and medium-sized organizations in the Seattle area, leadership development with fortune-500 executives, financial management for The Boeing Company, marketing management for a high-tech telecom products firm in Boston, MA, and legislative work for a US Senator in Washington, D.C.

During the mid-1990s, he served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Armenia, primarily responsible for advising top management at Zvartnots International Airport.  Afterwards he worked in project management for Cargo Service Center, a subsidiary of KLM.  He has been an elected member of the board of directors of several non-profit organizations, and the site council chair of a local elementary school in the San Francisco Unified School District.  He is a 4.0 squash player, active in the SF City League.
